For my self-portrait I chose to use skin colored crayons. My hair has always covered most of the page in my previous self portraits simply because it is a big part of my Identity. My facial features are very prominent and realistic looking. I feel very confident in my skin and that is due to the self-esteem work I have done in the past couple of years. My body is a part of myself that I am still actively working on and that might be the reason I only choose to draw my face.
For my portrait, I used markers and pencil. I first got a picture i liked of myself of my birthday last year and then I zoomed in and drew details I saw. I outlined everything in pencil and then colored in a couple of my features with marker. I think I did a good job looking similar to me, although not perfect! I didn’t color in my hair or skin because I didn’t think it would stand out on the colored paper I used and I wanted everyone to be able to see the detail!
I have my black hair part in the middle. My dark skin colored in and my nose piercing showing of course. I used a pencil to outline and draw myself first then use crayons to color my self-portrait. I also used markers to shade in some parts of the drawing. For my eyebrows, I only used my pencil to shade since my eyebrows don’t have much hair on them. For my skin tone, I used markers and shade in with my pencil as well.
I used paint to make my self portrait, I chose the paint because love how portraits look when there painted, I’m not sure why. I chose grey hair because I love grey hair. I am almost always wearing a flower in my hair and the sunflowers is my favorite flower. I have on my favorite kind of earrings, which are hoops and an olive green top. I think olive green compliments my skin tone. I didnt draw any facial features because I felt like it would have messed up this great painting, as I am horrible with drawing faces.
I try to make a portrait of me. If you can see I wear glasses and I have birth mark on the bottom of my lips and the side of my side of my face. I use color pencils, so I have blue shirt on with a necklace I got from my dad. It say Tesha which is my nickname, and he got it from Bangladesh. Someone ask me once what’s my favorite feature about myself and I said my hair so that something you know about me.
For my Portrait I use a pencil and some pencil colors (red, blue and brown). When I do portrait of myself I always do it up to my shoulders. I always like to have my hair dawn but my hair do not let me and it get crazy.
This is a picture of myself. I drew a picture of myself with my short hair. I went natural a few years ago and decided to embrace the way God made me. I am beautiful in my natural hair and I needed to embrace me.
Hi, this is my self-portrait. I used white plain copy paper, pencil, crayons (yellow, green, red, and orange), googly eyes and Sticky Note Flags. I used googly eye to make my eyes more fun, I colored sun, flowers, fruits, lips, and hair. I used Sticky Note Flags to imitate dress. i love colorful everything and I tried to dress myself with colorful skirt. My shirt is green color, because green is my favorite color. And I made notes that could describe me: “That’s Okey to b funny”, “That’s Okey to eat much chocolate”, “That’s good to eat fruit (with arrows pointing)”, “That’s nice to love flowers (with arrows pointing).
