  1. What materials & equipment are important to have in an infant classroom? Cultural items, photos of children, & families, cushion mats,soft child sized furniture, multiple popular toys, pillows, couches, books, and art supplies.

I believe the most important equipment that every infant classroom should have is a soft toy area, children’s art work and photos, verbal direction with photo demonstration for example next to a sink you place directions on how to wash their hands etc. Cozy places, many toys for example soft blocks for building, balls and many more.

    – I think some of the most important materials and equipment would be books and toys, this is the best way for children can play and learn through imagination. I also think having a photo section is important for kids to bring a photo of their families to class so that they feel more comfortable in the environment. Soft play mats, and photo demonstration cards as well.

    I think that having variety of dolls that infants feel comfortable around, having a book that the infant likes to read, or a book of photos that will help the infant feel at home. Have things brought from home that represents them culturally. Have clothing from home for pretend play, have pillows for when infants/toddlers are on the floor. Have carpets that cover the floor to keep the infants safe from getting hurt badly.

The materials and equipment that are important in a infant classroom would be chairs that are their size play mats and mats to sit and a-toy chess so they can learn to clean up when its time. Having one thing from home to sleep with and a family picture that can make them feel connected at school.

    I think an infant classroom should feel very cozy for them, with soft colors on the walls and furniture, sunlight and fresh air can come in. soft blankets and furry toys and pillows. toys that can help the baby exercise and develop motor skills like mats to go on their tummy-time and little toy animals are hanging above their heads. Caregivers should have items from every baby’s home so he can associate smells and pictures with the environment he feels safe the most. like a blankie with the moms smell, pictures among other items.I think a rocking chair, and a plant to purify the air are also good things to have in an infant classroom.

For example, photos of family ,friends and important events. The pictures should be on the child cubicle ,desk or attendees card.The child size should connect to child community of helps.. For example, early learning center centers should have a real life aspect to them. To promote life experience connection, like kitchens, dining room ,Post Office ,stores and other popular places.
