1st video the child is using cause and effect with the toy by pressing it and dancing to the music
2nd video the child is using learning schemes the child is throwing the toy around singing pushing the basket
3rd video the child in the beginning of the video is using object permanence because recoginzes the toy

object prominence: knowing that toys were still on living room floor
use of tools: cry, hand, caregiver, and toys.
imitation: laughing, smiling, cooing.
space and spatial: putting ball in cup.
(Video 2) learning schemes: handling, throwing, pushing.
object prominence: knowing bears were on couch.
use of tools: hand, laundry hamper.
imitation: combining 2 to three word sentences

1st child is using cause and effect because she started understanding that when you open the kettle it will play music.
2nd child- she was pretending she was a car or a boat and she understands that everyone has to be inside.
3rd child- that baby was using her hands and throwing, the baby was talking and getting into the box

video #1: There is an infant who begins the video by imitating her mother by sticking out her tongue. She also works to figure out how to make the teapot make a sound as her caregiver did. The infant hums as her caregiver hums as well. She also uses her body as a tool to help her stand up while holding on to the toy.
Video #2: The little girl is using symbolic play to play with her two plushes. She begins by putting them to sleep for a nap and then proceeding to push them in the casket and singing the “row” song as she is pushing it. The casket and her body she is using it as a tool to push the casket from point A to B.
Video #3: The infant learning about the toy by placing it in her mouth to try out the object but also see the use of the toy. The boy uses problem-solving to figure out how to get in the box but also how to get out of it. Lastly, the infant is imitating the caregiver’s words of “uh oh”.

Video 3 – Understanding space/spacial relationships: The baby knew where to fit his body in the basket. He was aware of the amount of space in it.

Imitation: babbling without actual words.
