First to become a teacher you to complete college and get a associate and bachelor degree, also
skills needed to prepare you to become assistant teachers in childcare, Head Start, nursery and pre-kindergarten programs, and public and private elementary school. The program offers two career areas of study: Infant Toddler and Pre-School/Early Elementary. Also you have to work hard to keep your grade up so you can finish class and move on to another one.

A program that will make me successful is Bmcc is ASAP program, ASAP program has help me so much and without there suppose I could not be where I’m today,.

Since I’m a freshmen I don’t know that much about all other programs but I do know that ASAP will alway suppose me and I will be successful.
1.Examine the requirements and expectations of BMCC’s Early Childhood Education Program
BMCC’s Early Childhood Education Program requires for you to complete a two year degree and bachelors degree or even your Master’s (Depending on what grade you will be teaching) before you embark on your career and a certificate in Early Childhood. You will also have the opportunity to go on internships in your field to help navigate and teach you how Early Childhood is assessed. You will need to juggle a lot through the first year of college but you will be able to manage your time by using lots of sticky notes, Planners, or even a reminder on your phone by using your calendar.
2.Identify programs at BMCC that can support your success
There are so many programs at bmcc like ASAP,Degree Under Three, Panther, Saturday success track, Year Up, (FYE) First year Experience and many more. Right now I am currently in the ASAP program and they provide you with an ASAP advisor to help guide you throughout your semester, she/he may even hold group meetings twice a month to discuss any issues you may be having with picking your classes and overall discussions on your semester. They provide money for your textbooks and metro cards but, Yes. there is always a but. You will have a budget for your textbooks. I am not sure about the other programs but they should be helpful to you as well.

This is my first year at bmcc so I am not familiar with the other programs that I listed above but I am In the ASAP program and they check in with you to help guide you throughout your semester. You keep in contact with them and keep them updated on any changes you’ve made or any other matter you would like to discuss personally by phone, email, or text.

– You need a Associates or Bachelor’s Degree or in some cases a Masters depending on the desired age group to teach. There will be fieldwork needed done as a requirement to move onto the next class and keep a constant grade at least a C.

– Some programs are (FYE) First Year Experience, College Discovery, Connect to Success, Tutoring, and Evening/Weekend Programs, etc.

– I personally don’t know much about the programs because this is my first year at BMCC and I’m not in any program but they still seem interesting.

To become an Early childhood Educator you will first start on working towards your Associates Degree in a two year college. Within the program you have to complete hours of fieldwork related to the field, then you can proceed with your Bachelors or Masters Degree.

I have identified programs that will help you to succeed which are ASAP, Year up, Out in Two and so many of them. They will help you with proceed in your education and will support and aide you during those two years of college.

BMCC’s Early Childhood Education Program:
– you have to achieve an associates or bachelors degree/ Masters too. This depends on the grade you plan on teaching
-you’ll be introduced to internships as well
– sticky notes, planners, and a lot of writing to remind since there will be a lot of moving around going on

-I’d say the ASAP program, which I’m apart of, will help me tremendously, inside and outside of class. They provide me with textbook money, a metro card, which will be helpful since I work, tutoring, and my own advisor that can help me in so many ways.

You need an associates, masters, or bachelors degree depending on what kind of teacher you want to be. It is also determinedly what age group you will be teaching. Before starting anything you must have a certificate in early childhood then you can pursue a career. While doing so there will be many opportunities like internships that can help you see how an actual job in the early childhood field would go. During the first year or two it will be a lot to manage but you just have to stay on top of your assignments.

There are a lot of programs that bcc offers to help you be successful. There are programs like asap, panther, degree under three, Saturday success, first year experience, and many more. These programs offer many benefits which can help pay and money you owe on your tuition and even money for text books. For example I am currently in the asap program and they give you an advisor which you can speak to and you have to meet with twice a month. They give you money for the books you have to pay for and even offer metro cards and tutoring. Obviously there will be a budget and it also depends on your income and if you re a full Time student.

This is my first semester attending BMCC and its all online. ASAP is the only program I know about but its a program that helps all throughout the two years. It has benefit that can help you not be in debt so that way you can continue your education without the stress of a bunch of loans. Im sure there are other programs like it but all help in their own ways. ASAP is very helpful because it puts you on the right path for graduation.

you have to earn you associates degree to start working and you may need to expand your studies to earn your bachelor’s degree depending on what age group of children you plaining to work with, or what will be your major in the field of education.

There is a lot of programs in BMCC can help students. I think ASAP is a very good program. Its offer a lot of support for students.

Upon completing BMCC’s ECE program and obtaining your associates, you can proceed to complete your bachelors or masters degree. You are going to be introduced to internships to get a sense of what it is like to work in that given field. Having a proper routine while in school is very important. To keep up with the completion of your work, you should have a planner or some type of reminder app.
