It has been a pleasure to finish this Translation Capstone, the final course in my program. As a graduating student of Translation and Interpretation, I see the importance of completing this capstone project. It will certainly help me in my future career as an interpreter and translator, and also in my studies in Romance Linguistics. As I have completed multiple TRS courses, thankfully this capstone course did not turn to be more difficult than I had previously expected. The biggest challenge I would say was time management, but I was able to overcome it by simply getting it done. I have learned the importance of having an actual professional experience in the field in order to be more successful not only in this particular course but also in the Translation and Interpretation program. Putting together this portfolio was definitely the most enjoyable part of this course. As I take my studies to the next level, I see myself applying everything I have learned from this Capstone course, as well as the entire Translation and Interpretation program. I appreciate all the guidance that Professor Lomask has provided me throughout this course.
