Since I live in Bay Ridge, I’d describe the area as a middle class, with some upper-middle class areas. In my neighborhood, there are a lot of working professionals, small business owners, and families who have lived here for a long time. The housing and businesses seem more stable than in low-income areas, but it’s not an extremely wealthy or luxury neighborhood either. I’m not surprised by that because from what I see, I think it’s a fair description. The area looks well maintained, and many people seem financially stable. At the same time, I don’t think one class label fits everyone here, as there are some people who are more financially comfortable, while others are closer to the working class.
