  1. 1) The statistic on wealth inequality in the US that made the biggest impression on me was how people in the society makes you think about the distribution of economic prosperity. living in a society with such vast wealth inequalities can have several implications.

    2) It can lead to disparities in access to quality education, healthcare and even opportunities for social mobility. This can create cycles of advantage and disadvantage that are difficult to break. I do see this dynamic playing out in everyday life, for example consider the difference in resources available to schools in neighborhoods versus those in lower income areas. This can lead to unequal educational outcomes.
