New module has been added

Hi class,

Next week and the week after, we have a new module: Module 5:

https://openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu/pol-100-0502-fall-2026-american-government/module-5-social-class-part-2-9-21-9-27/

Notice again that Module Five takes two weeks to complete because the material is more challenging and therefore more important for the key concepts it introduces in our study of US government and society. So we have to take our time with it. I recommend not rushing. Take the full two weeks to complete the module. Read carefully, write carefully. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me.

New Module has been posted!

Hi class!

This week, we begin our study of American politics with Module 3: https://openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu/pol-100-0502-fall-2026-american-government/modules/module-3-political-ideology-9-7-9-13/

Please study this module in sequential order, from top to bottom. Watch the videos, including my video lectures, which are essential for understanding how we’re approaching the study material.

At the bottom of the module, you have to complete two discussion board post assignments. Please note: to see how to create your own posts in order to complete these assignments, make sure you watch my video at the bottom of Discussion Board 3.1. It’ll show you how to create posts, which are necessary for completing all discussion boards for the semester.

Note: Please ignore my reference to annotating the reading with the Hypothesis plugin – the annotation plugin is not working well, so I turned it off. You do not have to annotate any of the readings with the Hypothesis plugin.

Don’t rush through the material; you have the entire week to complete it. All assignments (Discussion Boards in the module) are due by midnight next Sunday.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me.
