1)How I understand the “Establishment Clause” is when it comes to religion the government cannot create or “establish” its own religion. They have to allow people to be able to practice whatever religion they believe in and cannot be forces to engage in something they do not believe in. The “Lemon Test” was put in place to make sure that the laws on religion are all fair for everyone. It has 3 parts to it and it sole purpose is to make sure the government doesn’t have any bias against any religion.

2) The burning of a flag IS protected under the first amendment of the freedom of speech. It’s a way for people to express themselves even if some feel it is offensive.

3)when a person says “I’m taking the fifth” it means that they are not going to answer any questions that they are being asked that way nothing they say can be used against them. it’s basically someone’s fifth amendment right that they are using so that anything they say someone cannot turn it against them.
