About this site

This website was created as an OER (Open Educational Resource) for the Borough of Manhattan Community College’s “MMP460 – Multimedia Project Lab” course. There are several sections of this course. This site is for Professor Pinkas’ MMP460-0900, Fall 2024. We will meet Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9AM-11:15AM. The recurring link for synchronous Zoom sessions will be posted on Blackboard (to insure privacy). Please email me at apinkas@bmcc.cuny.edu if you cannot find the link.

MMP460 is the culminating class for the Multimedia Programming and Design Major. It makes use and expands upon the skills acquired throughout the curriculum. The course is built around a collaborative, interactive, multimedia project. Technical workshops on 4-5 topics will be offered during the first few weeks of the semester, based on the needs and interest of students. The rest of the semester will be dedicated to producing an ambitious semester-long group project (see campaign project page).

While this Open Lab site will be used to share most of the course material and for students to submit work, students may be asked to submit certain files on Blackboard. The professor will upload grades and comments there as well.
