Portfolio website

Create a simple portfolio that showcases images and video from the other projects made during the semester. The site should have a homepage with a grid of project thumbnails, individual pages for each project with documentation media and a description. Include an about page with a logo or image and short biography. The site should have a menu on all page that links to each main page. There should be a total of (at least) 5 HTML pages. All pages should include the required tags (html, head, title, body). Pages should include the following tags: h1, p, a, img. Include a CSS stylesheet with at least the following properties: color, font-size, font-family, margin. 

Submission instructions 

Create an Open Lab post with the following: 

  • Screen capture of the website homepage 
  • URL for the published version of the project 
  • URL for the code on GitHub 
  • Project statement 
    • Project title 
    • Semester and year created 
    • Software and languages used 
    • 3-4 sentence description of your creative and technical process. For example: What/who is your “choose your own adventure” about? What inspired this story? What was the most challenging part of the project and how did you solve it? 
    • Description should be written for a general audience with no knowledge of the class assignment. 
  • Submit a link to the Open Lab post documentation on Brightspace.
