Animation Final

Storyboarding part is difficult for meta draw in Animate, I did on paper and scanned it.

For my animation, I made a simple nature scene. I used mountains, the sun, clouds, birds, a kite, a flower, a butterfly, and a leaf. The animation shows a new day starting, with different things moving in the scene.

I used motion tweens to move the clouds, birds, kite, butterfly, and leaf. I also made the flower grow in the foreground. I wanted the animation to feel calm and easy to understand.

Animation Draft

For my animation, I made a simple scene about a new day starting. I used mountains, the sun, clouds, birds, and a paper airplane. The sun rises and the sky changes color, so it feels like morning is coming.

I used motion tween for the moving parts, like the clouds, birds, and paper airplane. I also used basic shapes to make the mountains and background. My idea is to show a calm scene that represents starting fresh and moving forward.

Anger: a Visual representation

For this project, I decided to animate the emotion of anger because I wanted to visually show how emotions can build up and explode over time. I used red and black colors along with circles and sharp motion lines to represent intensity, pressure, and chaos, while the original grey circle symbolized calmness before the emotional shift. I approached the pacing by starting the animation slowly with subtle jitter movements, then gradually increasing the speed, vibration, and movement to make the transition feel more dramatic and intense. The most challenging part of the project was creating smooth motion and timing during the explosion scene, but I solved it by using multiple keyframes and motion tweens to make the movement feel more energetic and natural.

I used the moon to represent the different phases of love, hearts for symbolic reasons and flowers to show how love can bloom.

This animation visually represents a shift from happiness to anger through color, movement, and contrast. A calm blue circle begins in a bright peaceful setting, then becomes surrounded by growing red shapes as the background darkens, symbolizing rising stress and emotional tension.

A central circle begins to shake as surrounding shapes close in, representing rising pressure and emotional tension. As the motion intensifies and then settles, it reflects a shift from overwhelm to release.

I chose to represent calmness in my animation because the world needs more of it. I animated a nice cloudy day with kites going by over the ocean.
