Popeye TV Show Air Dates & Track Episodes - Next Episode

Early product placement animation, I only remember Popeyes shown on TV when I was a kid. I don’t know much about the recent TV show, instead, I have seen many product placements in movies.

The most impressive one in recent times for me would be the Disney animated movie released in 2018, Ralph Breaks the Internet. What I remember most is the series of company logos that appeared when Ralph and Vanellope landed on the Internet world through the network route. After I watched it, I went home to search for the specific companies that appeared in the film. There is also the subsequent appearance in the film of search platforms, shopping sites, video sites, etc… All of these can automatically remind the audience of the actual Google, eBay, and Youtube platforms.

For the long paper, I am going to analyze the film “ Day and Night”. The firm was produced in 2010 by Teddy Newton and Pixar company. The film simply uses only two characters to bring out issues that affect society in an interesting way. This film is mainly a black background picture and then uses CGI technology on the characters to synthesize the scenery relative to the timeline, so as to form a sharp contrast to attract the audience’s attention. The film is only 6 minutes long and it is not a commercial film.

I will analyze the following questions:
What does the main audience of this film probably understand?
How does this film relate to what we have learned this semester?
Did the production of this film refer to other films?
What techniques are used in this film? In terms of sound effects, will there be any special effects?
Why would the filmmakers want to make this movie, and what’s the point?

Prompt 2

The cave paintings and shadow puppetry reminded me of another traditional Chinese storytelling performance, which is the glove puppetry. Glove puppetry is similar to shadow puppetry. They’re both manipulating puppets in front of the audience and then narrated with sound effects and narration. The puppets are more three-dimensional, with more details and related costumes to decorate them. I haven’t seen a live glove puppet show yet. I’ve only seen it in the movies. It may be the film’s editing method, sometimes close-up details of the puppet’s performance, I will unconsciously be attracted. But if it is watched live, with live sound and stage should be an unparalleled amazing experience.

My name is Emma. The reason I choose this course is that I have a great interest in animation. The animation was one of the factors that accompanied and influenced me growing up. I would like to know the process of transition from 2D animation to 3D animation. My major is digital marketing. My current goal is to transfer to City College after I finish my BMCC program. My future goal is to become a web designer. My favorite food is noodles. I like to assemble and play with Lego bricks and collect anime figures.
