The Joneses

The film is a fictionalized account of what happens to a group of salespeople assembled to sell an overpriced product after they become a fake family and are torn between reality and lies.

The film’s approach is classified as PERSONAL SELING. They are salespeople assembled to sell a product. In reality, there are many similar sales methods such as social media and pyramid schemes.

It is unethical to lie to get people to buy expensive products.
If you become friends with them, you may find their lifestyle refreshing, but there are limits to their lies.Many consumers also have the ability to make judgments, so few people would continue to be deceived by a fake family member in real life.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is the world’s largest charitable foundation, founded in 2000 by former Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates and his wife Melinda. Its main goal is to challenge disease and poverty in the world, but especially in the U.S., the foundation works to provide education and access to information technology. Headquartered in Seattle, Washington, the organization is led by three co-chairs, Bill Gates, Melinda Gates, and Bill Gates, Sr.

Since its founding in 2000, the Gates Foundation has been committed to the belief that ALL LIVES HAVE EQUAL VALUE, and has been helping all people lead healthy and prosperous lives. The three specific activities are as follows

International Development Program
The International Development Program aims to give people in developing countries the opportunity to overcome hunger and poverty. Together with its partner agencies, the program focuses on sustainable, high-impact assistance for more people, such as agricultural development, financial services for the poor, and support for water and sanitation. It also provides policy advocacy support to promote the eradication of severe poverty around the world.

Global Health Program
The Global Health Program aims to provide innovative support for major diseases in developing countries through the use of scientific and technological advances. The program emphasizes detection, dissemination, and policy advocacy, and aims to improve infectious diseases and family health, particularly through the establishment and dissemination of vaccines, medicines, and diagnostic procedures.

U.S. Program
The U.S. Program works with partner agencies to provide all U.S. citizens with opportunities for post-secondary and higher education, including a variety of support related to higher education, the dissemination of personal computers and the Internet through libraries, and assistance to the poor in the Pacific Northwest. It also conducts advocacy to raise public opinion and provide input into policy.

How to find a good restaurant in a new place

If I had just moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, and had no idea what restaurants were in town and wanted to order Italian takeout, I would do what most people do: type Italian into Google Maps and search.

Then I check to see if it’s close to home, if it’s upscale or casual, and what people with experience have to say about it. You check to see if they have the menu you are looking for, the prices and pictures of the food, and if it meets your needs. A restaurant close to your home is best, but if a restaurant close to your home is not what you are looking for, consider a delivery service such as Uber Eats as an alternative.

After the actual purchase, the customer will evaluate whether the taste and quantity of food were worth the price, cleanliness, and satisfaction in total, and decide whether to repeat the purchase. If they like it very much, they may bring a friend or become a regular customer who purchases several times a week.

What this experience shows is that what we usually do without thinking about it is a big decision in business. The time it takes to make this decision may be a few minutes or a few dozen minutes, but many people do it every day. This means that information on the Internet has a tremendous effect over the advertisements you see in m town. Consumers must also learn to use their judgment to find what is appropriate for them among the tremendous amount of information on the Internet. To do this, they need to know what they are looking for on a regular basis.

 Japan Airlines is the leading airline in Japan. Japan Airlines’s social responsibility is to provide the best service to its customers, to enhance its corporate value, and to contribute to the progress and development of society. In addition, due to the nature of being an airline company, we have the following social responsibilities. Safety is to protect lives and is a prerequisite for the existence of the JAL Group. We will firmly keep in mind our mission and responsibility as safety professionals, and will do our utmost with our knowledge, skills, and abilities to ensure the safety of each and every flight.

   In March 2013, the JAL Group established the Basic CSR Policy and has been focusing on “Harmony with the Earth,” “Contribution to Local Communities,” and “Fostering the Next Generation. As a member of society, based on the JAL Group Corporate Philosophy, we will continue to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society where the SDGs are achieved and everyone can lead a safe, secure, and comfortable life.

   With accelerating globalization and unprecedented interest in ESG/SDGs, the world is now entering an era of change in which economic activities themselves are influenced by the external environment. The JAL Group has been working to solve social issues and achieve the SDGs through its business activities, and in the Rolling Plan 2022, a revision of the Medium-Term Management Plan, we have positioned ESG strategies as our medium- to long-term growth strategy. Going forward, we will make major changes to our product services and business model from an ESG perspective.

   The JAL Group’s ESG strategy is to “solve social issues and create sustainable human, commercial, and logistics flows. We will leverage our strengths as an airline company to create sustainable demand with our raison d’être of realizing a society and future in which many people and various goods can freely travel to and from each other, and in which people’s hearts are filled with joy.To this end, we will focus on three key objectives: to protect the global environment and thoroughly pursue safety and security, to sustainably fulfill our mission as a social infrastructure, and to deliver affluent lives and lifestyles to our customers.

There are two suggestions. First, Airplanes emit large amounts of CO2 dioxide. Airplanes are now an indispensable part of our lives. It is necessary to realize environmentally friendly operations while placing the safety of airplanes as the first priority. Second,  Take advantage of the benefits of an international perspective. In Japan, an island nation with an overwhelming majority of Japanese, JAL has employees with diverse backgrounds and valuable international experience. It is important to return that experience and JAL’s many international flights to Japan and the world.
