  1. Best practices for working with families who have infants is being sensitive, understanding , creating activities,be welcoming. Provide safe place, always checking on them ,communicating with them, learn their behaviors, support them socially and emotionally.

After reading and watching the video in this module, the best practices for working with families who have infants would be to create a safe haven for the families and the children so the child’s trust and emotional security responds to their interests and needs along with establishing strong relationships between the families which creates stability and continuity of positive relationships and their children’s obvious comfort in the situation.

Relationships are the pathway to security and trust, to build bonds. As caregivers we also have to acknowledge our families, encourage and motivate our parents.
