  • Analyze ethical dilemmas related to working with young school age children
  • Evaluate situations of professionalism related to working with young school age children

Assignment #1: Survey

Over winter break BMCC wants to offer:

  • CPR & First Aid training
  • Dignity for All Students (DASA) workshop (required for NYS Teacher & Teacher Assistant certification)
  • Child Abuse Identification & Reporting Workshop (required for NYS Teacher & Teacher Assistant certification)
  • School Violence Prevention and Intervention Workshop (required for NYS Teacher & Teacher Assistant certification)

We need to know how many people are interested in participating in the free workshops. Complete this survey to indicate if you are interested in taking any of the free workshops.

    1. Is it professional to wear jeans to work? Why?
    2. Is it professional to talk about your personal life with the children? Why?
    3. Is it professional to take out your cell phone when the children are around? Why?
