- How was the elements demonstrated in each classroom?
What elements of working with infants and toddlers do you see demonstrated in the classrooms you visited virtually? In video #1 I noticed supporting development, sensory experiences, and individualized routines. Video #2 had individualized routines, supporting development, and sensory experiences. Video #3 showed sensory experiences, supporting development, and individualized routines but #4 showed all of the elements. Supporting development, sensory experiences, individualized routines, and culturally sustaining.
How was the elements demonstrated in each classroom? They elements were were shown with clear communication, being playful with the children. For example one of the students in the video was cooking, playing with a camera/dolls. The children showed language, emotions, cognitive and physical strength in all of the videos included above. Also one of the teachers spoke in a different language (Spanish language) to the children. Overall each class room equally shared 3 or all of these elements in a class room setting.
What elements of working with infants and toddlers do you see demonstrated in the classrooms you visited virtually?
There are certain elements that are used when working with infants and toddlers. In video one there were some sensory movements or experience. There was some sensation in the process that allows our Brain to take in information using our five senses. There were also some routines which the child had followed. The child was using their five senses in order to process what was happening. In video number two there were also some sensory experience and some development being made in the child. In video 3 it showed the same exact elements which were individualizing routines done by the child, supporting development, and motor skills being used. In video number 4 all aspects and skills were being used while this observation of the child.
How was the elements demonstrated in each classroom?
There were certain elements that were used in each one of these classrooms which was good communicating skills and interacting with the children. In the videos there were motor skills being used with the children interacting with one another or the adult to the best of their ability. There was some cognitive development and skills which the children used there was also some physical activities that the children were doing for example when they were playing or interacting with the dolls. These children were well developed for their age and their interactions were good for their age too. In the class they used all five senses and the elements needed to be used when in a classroom or interacting with students

Yes, there was relationship secure and responsive. It impacts the child to be responsive. The teacher asked the question to the child “are you going to make a lettuce sandwich”. Using an expressive language, the child says yes. Yes, we do see opportunities to support the development of language. They are too young to use actual words but they can express sound. They are also able to demonstrate receptive language when they repeated the sound the teacher made. Yes, the relationship was secure and children were responsive and she was able to build trust with them. This video actually shows that the teacher and the child are building relationship. We observe this when the teacher looks through the camera and the baby response with the same gesture.
Individualized Routines Yes, they were playing in the sand.
There was individualized/ preferences play; the little girl with a yellow shirt and an orange short was playing the sand alone. Also we saw them playing together in the sand. Playing
While playing with the children, teachers ask questions relating to play. Yes, individualized routine was observed through playing. Yes, an individualized routine was observed in their playing the toys and one another.
Supporting Development The little girl uses her gross motor skills when she attempts to lift her bucket to be filled with sand. The child uses expressive/receptive language, when the teacher asked if she wanted sand. She made verbal sound, listened and follows direction. Emotionally she is supporting she smiles. Yes, this video supports all create opportunity to support developmental growth. Noah is playing with the apple, but the girl wants to have an apple. So the teacher tells her it is still his turn. Supporting development was in language. Physical through the demonstration of their fine and gross motor skills. Yes, it did supported. It create an opportunities, the toys, the language of the teachers creates an opportunity to support the development to growth.
Sensory Experiences The stimulus of the sand is able to use two senses, touch and see. Yes, it allows them to use connections of the fine motor skills and gross motor skills. Yes. The stimulus here was the kitchen. Three senses were use; they are hearing, touching and seeing. Yes, the child’s interest was demonstrated through the pincher grasp. They were able to grab toys. Yes, the stimuli are the toys. The toys evoke the toddlers to use their fine motor skills.
Being culturally sustaining This is culturally sustaining because children are able to conform to their own personal choices to play individually or collaborative. There was no culture sustain. There was no cultural sustaining. There was no cultural sustaining
1.What elements of working with infants and toddlers do you see demonstrated in the classrooms you visited virtually? There are a couple of elements that the were used in video 1 which were Gross Motor Development . In video 2 they were using their Fine Motor Development skills, they used sensory skills throughout the video and Social Development as well. In video 3 they used social development, they used their cognitive skills because they were playing in a pretend way and one of the Childs used their emotional Development.
2.How was the elements demonstrated in each classroom?
In video 1 gross development was used because the children were using their arms to lift up the sand and they were just using there bigger muscle parts of their body.
In video 2 the infant toddlers used there Fine Motor Development skills because they used there hands wrists and just used there smaller muscles. They also used their sensory skills because in the video they were using there five senses. The toddlers were also using social Development because they were interacting with the teachers. Language was used in that video although there words weren’t clear they used that skill.
In video 3 Social Development was used because the girl was communicating with the teacher and the little boy about what she wanted. The two children used their Cognitive Development skills because they were playing in a make believe way when they were talking about what they wanted for food. Emotional Development was used when the girl grabbed the apples and the teacher told her to put it back because the little boy Was still cooking them and she was a little upset about that.

How was the elements demonstrated in each classroom?
There were certain elements that were in each one of these classrooms which was good communicating skills and interacting with the children. In the videos there were motor skills being used with the children interacting with one another. There was some cognitive development and skills which the children used. There were also some physical activities that the children were doing, for example when they were playing or interacting with the dolls, they were hugging the doll and stuff. These children were well developed for their age and their interactions were good for their age too. In the class they used all five senses and the elements needed to be used when in a classroom or interacting with students. These elements were shown with clear communication, being playful with the children. For example one of the students in the video was cooking, playing with a camera/dolls. The children showed language, emotions, cognitive and physical strength in all of the videos included above.
What elements of working with infants and toddlers do you see demonstrated in the classrooms you visited virtually?
Elements like trust was definitely shown throughout the classrooms shown. The teachers showed trust towards the infants by respecting them and being responsive. Routines were shown by kids playing all together at the same time when told. Supporting development by language being shown towards teacher and infant. They would be responsive o them whenever they would be talked to.
Sensory experiences also because the infants were put around materials that would exercise their 5 senses.
How was the elements demonstrated in each classroom?
In the first video, the elements that most pointed out was sensory and trust. Sand was used to help the infants senses and discover what they’re touching. Trust is also because the teacher was being respectful to the infants when coming into the sand area. She treated everyone the same by giving them sand and looking out for them. In the second classroom, the elements that stood out the most was routines and supporting development. All the kids were playing at the same time which shows they’re all on the same one. Supporting development was shown by language. The teachers would interact with the infants and they would respond back. It wasn’t by words but by expressive language.
1. What elements of working with infants and toddlers do you see demonstrated in the classrooms you visited virtually?
– In the first video we see Gross Motor Development. In the second video we see sensory experiences and supporting development and finally in the third video we see cognitive development and social skills.
2. How was the elements demonstrated in each classroom?
– The teachers are hands on with the kids and respectful with them and even if what they say doesn’t add up they go along with it, they never say they are wrong or anything. Another thing was the interactions of the kids with one another how they play and talk, communication skills. Also how the kids use there senses to process information and listen to their teachers.
What elements of working with infants and toddlers do you see demonstrated in the classrooms you visited virtually?
They are several elements demonstrated in the videos. In the classrooms, sensory skills, developing relationships, and supporting development were shown.
How were the elements demonstrated in each classroom?
Classroom 1:
In this classroom, the toddlers were engaging with their peers and using their fine and gross motor skills. As well as using their senses, which are listening, touching the sand, and observing. I also saw that the toddlers were also building relationships and communicating with the teacher.
Classroom 2:
In this video I saw that the infants and toddlers were all using their gross motor skills and fine motor skills. I also observed that the teachers was developing relationships and conversations with the students while interacting and playing with them.
Classroom 3:
In this video, there is more communication and relationships between the teacher and the students. Also, the children are using their language to communicate with one another. They are also using their gross motor and fine motor skills while playing in their area.
Overall, all children were developing their cognitive, physical and social emotional skills.
1. What elements of working with infants and toddlers do you see demonstrated in the classrooms you visited virtually?
2.How was the elements demonstrated in each classroom?
Video #1: The elements of working with infants and toddlers that were demonstrated in the classroom were indivudualized routines, sensory experiences, and supporting development. The elements were demonstrated in the classroom by having clear communications between the teachers and the students. An example of supporting development is that the toddlers are able to hold the shovel and put the sand into the bucket. They are doing this with their sensory experience by watching the teacher put the sand into the bucket and following along.
Video #2: The elements demonstrated in the classrom were developing secure relationships, individualized routines, sensory experiences, and supporting development. The elements were demonstrated in the classroom because the toddler would crawl towards their teacher and put there hands on her so she would grab them and hold them. This shows that there was trust between the toddler and their teachers. The sensory experience was demonstrated because as the teacher was telling the toddler “up”, they acknowledge what she was saying by hearing and repating the words as they got up. The senses that the toddlers used were hearing the teacher’s voice, touching the plants and toys, smelling the clay, and the toy plants. One of the toddlers even tried to taste the clay by putting it in his mouth.
Video #3: The elements that were demonstrated in the classroom were individualized routines, supporting development and sensory experiences. The routine that was shown was playtime and the toddlers were in the kitchen area. They were learning how to cook and where to put the objects. They were able to communicate with their teacher as she was telling them what kind of food she wanted. They were learning through their senses by hearing, touching, and seeing.
Video #4: I believe that all the elements were demonstrated in the classroom. Culturally sustaning was shown in the video because the caretaker had spoken in spansh to the toddlers rather than just one langauge (English). All the videos have the same routines which was playtime. They were using their senses by watching the teacher kiss the puppy, and repeating what she was doing. They were smiling as the teacher hold up the toy camera and told them to smilie. They acknowleged what smile meant and created their face expressions.
While watching the video i was able to see that sensory skills, developing relationships, and supporting development were shown while interacting with the children. I also noticed that the teachers were very observant with their students actions and was able to tell what they needed without them talking.
in video number one the children where able to use there fine and gross motor skills by using there hand and arms to life the sand and to play with the sand.while also using there scneces of touch, hearing, and sight.
in video number two the children used their motor skills by using their hand muscles write while also having trust for the teachers around them. they where also using their scences of listening .
and in video number 3 was the same thing scensory development, the children continue to use their scences to know what is going on such as playing with their toys or paying attention to what their teacher is trying to tell them
What elements of working with infants and toddlers do you see demonstrated in the classrooms you visited virtually?
How were the elements demonstrated in each classroom?
In the first classroom, the students were able to explore outside and use different tools. They had a variety of sensory experiences feeling the sand in the sand box, sand toys, chalk drawing, and exploring the playground equipment. The kids were also able to socialize and parallel play in the class to enhance their social emotional skills. Each child was also able to explore their senses with each activity.
In the second classroom, the teachers were getting on the same level as the kids and seemed to form secure trusting relationships with the kids. They all had toys of different shapes, colors, and themes to play with so that they could develop cognitively and practice their fine motor skills. The teachers were also speaking to the kids, which helped their expressive and receptive language. When the kids were exploring dough and different plants, they had the opportunity to use all of their senses.
In the third classroom, the students are playing in a backyard and simply pretending to make food for each other in a kitchen. This is reinforcing the kids’ imagination and pretend play as well as interactive play and socialization with each other. At one point in the class two of the kids fight over a plastic piece of food and the teacher talks through sharing and safely guides them to dissolve the situation.
In the fourth classroom, the kids practice washing their hands and play with toys inside the classroom including baby dolls and stuffed animals. Each child is being interacted with and supported through play while in the classroom. They are listening and expressing themselves throughout each activity as well.
What elements of working with infants and toddlers do you see demonstrated in the classrooms you visited virtually?
In video #1, it was a sensory experiences the kids were touching the sand and feeling in it. Video#2 its was mix of secure relationships with the children and colleagues. there was a lot of language used , the children were able to move from one place to another to play. and the relationships between the colleagues was very good because the children were able to transfer between the activities very smooth. It was also supporting development because there were a lot of learning activities. Video #3 was supporting development using pretended play, Video #4 was supporting development through pretended play and imitation of animal sounds.
How was the elements demonstrated in each classroom?
Most the element in each class room, were to support the development of children through play.
1. What elements of working with infants and toddlers do you see demonstrated in the classrooms you visited virtually?
——-Elements of working with infants and toddlers that I saw demonstrated in the classrooms was developing relationships, gross and fine motor development, social development.
2. How were the elements demonstrated in each classroom?
——– These elements were demonstrated in each classroom through playing with the children. The adults in each video would interact and talk with the children. For example, in Classroom #1, the girl was able to grab onto the toy with sand and then use force to press it down against the surface.
Video 1:
-What elements of working with infants and toddlers do you see demonstrated in the classrooms you visited virtually?
I seen developing Secure a relationship with the child, supporting development and Sensory experiences.
-How was the elements demonstrated in each classroom?
I seen developing a secure a relationship with the child because respect was given, she was being responsive by playing with all the children that came up to her and wanted to play with the sand. I seen supporting development because at first she showed a little girl how to use the molding with the sand and then other children came up to her and she helped him put the sand into the molding instead of doing it for them. She was also saying you welcome to the children telling them to be careful and being very respectful to them showing them that they are also a person. I seen sensory experiences in this video by playing with the children with the sand allowing the kids to touch and build with the sand.
Video 2:
-What elements of working with infants and toddlers do you see demonstrated in the classrooms you visited virtually?
In video to I seen Developing secure relationships with the child and colleagues. I seen supporting development and sensory experiences.
-How was the elements demonstrated in each classroom?
Developing a secure relationship with a child was displayed the baby was saying his name she was saying it with him the baby was going to climb on the table she knew, she was very responsive with every child that touched her. The developing secure relationship with the colleagues is her making her colleague alert that the baby was going to climb towards the table. She also gave every child the proper amount of Attention. When the child begin to get a little rough with the hands she told them gentle in a very calming tone that displayed respect. Supporting development was showing by trying to get a little boy to put the road sign where it belongs, I think that that was her trying to make a connection for the child. Sensory experiences were displayed by the kids playing with the plants smellingthem, touching them, and making their own garden out of the plants and Plato. Engaging with all the children at the table, trying to help them make their own garden by rolling the play-Doh into a ball,Trying to get the kids to put the plants inside of the Play-Doh. Asking the children to smell their hands after they’ve had played with the play-Doh and grab the plants.
Video 3:
-What elements of working with infants and toddlers do you see demonstrated in the classrooms you visited virtually?
Developing secure relationships with the child and supporting development.
-How was the elements demonstrated in each classroom?
Developing secure relationship with the child being responsive being respectful also allowing the children to speak with one another and to her(teacher). Support and development was displayed with talking with the children and redirecting the little girl that snatch the Apple and she made it into a positive moment which to me was self-help. Her redirection to the little girl was that the little boy was Already cooking so why don’t you try to cook something else and help him. To me that was very helpful it didn’t cause any problems it didn’t feel like the little girl was singled out, situation was handled very well and I think that’s a part of helping the child understand that it’s OK instead of snatching things you can help.
Video 4:
-What elements of working with infants and toddlers do you see demonstrated in the classrooms you visited virtually?
That element I was displayed Develop and secure a relationship with a child and supporting development.
-How was the elements demonstrated in each classroom?
The way developing secure a relationship with the child was displayed in this video was being responsive with the child when they had stuff in their mouth, She took the things out of their mouth redirected them. making them feel engaged in the conversation and playtime. Supporting development was displayed in this video by creating opportunities for the kids to make connections with the animals and what sounds match the animal. Also when you see the camera you should smile.
