Please introduce yourselves and post your picture so we know who we’re learning with. Please tell us what your major is, where you are in your time at BMCC (first semester, second-year — whatever), what you might be thinking about for a career, where you are from, and what assets you bring to our class. That is, tell us three AWESOME things about yourself. What do you hope to get out of this course? And what do you think may be challenging for you?

Hey everyone. My name is Amy Goberdhan. This is my 3rd semester at BMCC and my major is criminal justice. I am currently thinking about becoming a detective. Investigators and detective careers are the only careers that interest me. Ever since I was a little girl I loved watching shows like criminal minds and investigation discovery with my dad. I was born and raised in Queens, NY. The assets that bring me to CRJ 200 are my curiosity and enjoyment in learning new things/subjects. I like to grow my knowledge too. One thing that will be challenging for me is memorizing all of the laws and information that we discuss in class this semester. Taking notes helps, but it doesn’t really stick in my brain until I go over them a few times which I plan on doing. Lastly, 3 cool things about myself is that I love going on adventures, taking/editing pictures, and baking.
