In this unit, we will explore direct payment from organizations to employees, and how Human Resource professionals help to shape and maintain organizational compensation strategies. We will examine the difference between payment schedules and plan types, general employee and executive pay, and how pay is set in different geographic areas. We will discuss challenges with compensation gaps across demographic groups, and rationale behind certain compensation decisions.
