My biggest takeaway from this live session is that I can use Linkedin for being more accessible to companies, interviewers, recruiters, and others. You can also see the achievements of others and learn from them. You can build professional relationships which can only inspire you and enhance your leadership. One main important takeaway was the organization of your profile, it is such a resume even though it is not. Learning how to organize your information is a tip that could be helpful in our academic curriculum.

Unit 4 linked in

My biggest take away from the live session was that,  ” Linked In” can be a very crucial tool for leverage in regards to starting up my professional career. A good profile could be a possible factor in what helps me get a job.  After reviewing the zoom meeting I realized how important it is to have a acceptable linked in profile .

My biggest take away from our live session was even though  i’m not currently looking for a job building my linked in profile can offer me a variety of new opportunities. Having a good profile can also be what gets me a job, for example if someone wanted to hire me they can see more information about me that’s not on my resume. it gives an opportunity to the hiring manager to get to know me on a  more personal level.

LinkedIn assignment

Hello everyone

Rayon Lambert | LinkedIn

There were many takeaways. The information presented was things that will benefit everyone when they are faced with the interview process. What I found was interesting was the interview process itself. The discussion on how questions should be answered, the preparation process, and how to interact in an interview were things that stand out to me. I did not know that a person can walk with writing material and take notes for reference purposes during an interview.

Hi, One take away that i got from the meeting last week was during the break room. In the break room we talked about one of the most tricky questions asked during an interview at least to me and it was when asked to tell the person interviewing you “a little about yourself” and what i took from talking about that question is that you have to talk about background professionally with a little of your backstory.

Our Zoom meeting class on February 23, 2021 with our special guest Annie Stankevich and Tiffany Suarez was very helpful and informative. I have been on LinkedIn for a long time. Now that I know how useful it is I can put it to use. What caught my attention the most was the interview discussion. I myself have not been working for over two years and the thought of having to be interviewed has scared me. So it was good to hear both women give good advice on how to prepare ourselves for an interview. Learning more about LinkedIn from the ladies helped me understand the many purposes of having a LinkedIn account. I appreciate all the insight given.

Linkedln

After our wonderful session last week with Annie and Tiffany, my biggest takeaway about LinkedIn is, you can tap into  its powerful job board, build your brand, research companies and its employees, help with industry news and networking. This platform is the best way to put yourself on the map and connect yourself with some serious people that are big in this world that can help you get the top.

Hi Class,

I wanted to first state that I thoroughly enjoyed the expert session featuring Annie and Tiffany. I definitely got the vibe that they are experts in their respective fields who are looking to help others by sharing their knowledge, experiences and time. I know they must be busy so I wanted to thank them for the time they took to share those tips. I ended up taking 3 pages of notes!

My biggest takeaway from the live session was the time Tiffany spent on best practices and recommendations for conducting yourself in an interview. Not only were the tips great but she also spent time on the balance you want to strike in an interview. How you want to be well prepared yet leave room for your authentic self to show and not come off as a robot. Be Professional yet approachable. This is an interesting dichotomy that is not touched on as much as I would like in my previous education on this. But it really speaks to how the modern company these days operates. They want to know you can be successful at the job yet also fit into the company culture and team.

Two other tips that I definitely will notate for future possible interviews was that “First 4 bullets of job description are the most important requirements” and prepping myself to think of 3 situations I can fully explain and take my audience through should I be asked situational questions.
