Welcome to Unit 1: Equal Opportunity & The Law! In this unit, we will explore how United States legislation has led to a more equitable approach to diversity and inclusion at organizations throughout the country. We have made significant progress toward equality, but there is still much more to be done. We will examine how public perceptions have changed over time, how legislation can be broad and specific at the same time, and how these decades-old laws apply to our lives and careers today.
