For our Unit 10 Assignment, we will take stock of the risks posed to organizations today, and will determine how organizations can take caution and work proactively to avoid those risks.

In 2020, organizations are facing an increased need for risk managers, as risks to organizations increase. These risks can come from within (ex: social media scandals), or can be external (ex: cyber security threats), and all need to be addressed swiftly to prevent the organization from experiencing devastating results. Students should research one or more potential “new” threats to organizations and submit a 1-2 page paper addressing the following questions:

• What “new” risks are companies facing in 2020 that were potentially not considered in prior decades? Why are these new risks so important to focus on?
• How can organizations prevent these risks from coming to fruition? 
• How do these new threats affect your comfort at work and/or your willingness and interest to work at a particular organization?

Follow this guide to create a new post to submit this assignment. Select “Risk Management” as the post Category. All submissions will populate under the Student Work menu item (Student Work > Risk Management).
