On my assessment, my results presented that my personality type is a Turbulent Campaigner. Accordingly, to the description, this profile is someone mainly guided by emotions and meaning. Campaigners are interested in enjoying the social and emotional connections they make with others. They are often described as intuitive people, that are curious and energetic having a complex view of life. Also, they are independent and look for creativity and freedom, being passionate and idealist on how to make the world better.
I see myself as someone guided by emotions, looking to have meaningful experiences, and connecting to people. In that sense I think helps me engaging with different types of people and being a good listener, as it is mentioned in the assessment, I am very curious about others, I am always trying to understand why other people think differently or what led them to think in a certain way and that trait led me to be someone empathetic. On the other hand, I can spend hours listing, observing, and not focusing and having a hard time being practical, going straight to the point, I can overthink and get emotionally drained because I can be very sensitive. I believe that is one of the reasons I somehow like to be independent, I don’t handle well having to be micromanaged all the time.
In my personal life, I am also very social and love to be surrounded by friends. Therefore, I don’t have a lot of friends, for me, it is a lit bit hard to make new friendships, I have only very long-term friendships that I really take care of, support them and cheer them always. Aligned with the test that states that Campaigners tend to get deeply involved in others’ lives, caring and supportive.
All these characteristics make me good in people’s skills, being a communicator, good listener, empathetic, and willing to solve other people’s problems. In the work field, I tend to like positions that are less operational and practical but that involves people management. I believe that I can in constant development and presenting new angles and new approaches and my personality type points outs.
This test although provides information about who you are is not accurate. I felt that the results match my personality, but a lot of the information did not match at all. If that being said the test can not determine if someone is right for a certain role. This result should be used as a complement to the candidate’s skills, experience, and values.
