  • What do you think is the most demotivating part of Harper’s job?

The most demotivating part of Harpers job is that Harper wasn’t being recognized for the work that was being put to the company also she used to have very good communication with her ex boss Jose.

  • If you were an HR manager meeting with Harper’s supervisor, David, what advice would you give to help them re-engage Harper?

The advice I would give as an HR manager to supervisor David is that he should balance his to do list in the company and work on time management so he’s able to communicate with Harper and make sure everyone including himself to be content and in a stress free environment for the company.

  • What would be the downside of losing Harper as an employee?

There will be a downside of losing Harper as an employee because she has a lot of roles in the company and since she’s been in the company longer than David so it would be beneficial for David to have Harper due to her experience plus he would have more job roles to fulfill.

The Founder

  1. What makes Ray Kroc and the brothers different from each other?

They are quite different. Ray Kroc was a determined person who wouldn’t give up on his challenges. He believed the brothers had more potential with their business which resulted him not to give up although the brothers have tried expanding their business it didn’t go to their expectations so they stopped trying meanwhile Ray Kroc was the complete opposite. In the beginning of the movie it’s show us Ray trying to sell his milkshaker device but many company’s declined the offer and he kept insisting till he got the call from the brothers for their McDonald’s company,

2. Do you think the McDonald’s brothers did the right thing by selling out to Ray Kroc? Did Ray Kroc give the brothers a good deal?

I believe that it was more of a benefit for the company itself since it had potential growth. Ray did not give a good deal to the brothers since they didn’t receive anything in the end. If it wasnt for the sell out then mc Donald’s wouldn’t be what it is in today’s world.

3. How did the local store franchisees make money?

The local store franchisees makes money from where the locations are the amount of purchases made and how efficient it is in the McDonald’s company.

4. How did Kroc make money? How was that different than the franchisees, running the local stores?

Kroc made money by collecting a certain percentage from each location from the amount of sales that would occur in every other location

5. Does this film change your view of McDonald’s?
yes this changes my view of McDonald’s because I was surprised how they started out in the beginning and what it is today in our society so much within the company has changed and if it wasn’t for Kroc bringing out his ideas to the brothers there would be no expansion or there wouldn’t be a McDonald’s in today’s world. Although they didn’t revive anything in the end it was a great choice for the company.
