What makes Ray Kroc and the brothers different from each other?
What makes Ray Kroc and the brother very different is their persistence and method to succeeding. The brothers tried their best to maintain standards and hold on to their morals and practices as long as possible, however Ray only focused on one goal and rushed in a reckless manner that took any means necessary to achieve his goal.
Do you think the McDonald’s brothers did the right thing by selling out to Ray Kroc? Did Ray Kroc give the brothers a good deal?
I think the McDonald’s brothers did the right thing for selling out to Ray Kroc. As sad as it was, it seemed to have been over the moment they signed the contract with him as there was no means to stop him from stealing the franchise from them. The best they could do was make the best of their situation. Ray Kroc could have given the brothers a better deal but was ultimately too greedy and cautious to make one.

How did Kroc make money? How was that different than the franchisees, running the local stores?
Kroc was originally making his money normally like other franchises in the movie, but as time went on, he realized he had to change his approach to make money. Instead, he approached it by selling the land and rights to operate a McDonalds store itself.
Does this film change your view of McDonald’s?
It does change my view of McDonald’s and of business as a whole. While it is true that Ray Kroc was a greedy person, he was persistent enough to evolve the company as a whole to become what it is today.
