Get a Library Card
Anyone who lives, works, goes to school, or owns property in New York State can get a Queens Public Library (QPL) library card. To get this card, which allows you to borrow both physical and digital materials, you need to go to a QPL location. Bring a picture ID and proof of your name and address with you.
For access to the library’s digital resources, you can can apply for an eCard.
Explore the QPL’s Collection
To search the QPL’s catalog, click on the search icon on the right side of the banner menu.
Enter your search terms in the search bar and use the filters below the search bar to limit the search, if desired.
The QPL also offers curated lists of books and periodicals at its website, as well as digital resources on a variety of platforms.
