This e-magazine is used to achieve an understanding of Afro-Peruvian heritage and legacy in Peru’s culture. This e-magazine displays information gathered from different sources, such as the BMCC database and other libraries. The information was studied and analyzed in order to provide brief and concise knowledge about how Africans assimilated the catholic religion belonging to the new country, the role of Afro-Peruvian women in Cofradias, Afro-Peruvian contributions to Peru’s catholic religion, and their cultural influence in Peru’s society.
