In the article, ICE arrested many refugees in South Asia. These refugees were then deported from the country. These convictions may give these refugees a very painful choice. The term first appeared in 1960 because the United States was looking for technical personnel from most Asian countries to immigrate to the United States to provide technical support to the United States. I was watching the video “A Conversation with Asian Americans on Race”. I think that in American society, it is common for Americans to be white. I am in an immigrant family, and sometimes I do not understand why my family chooses to immigrate to the United States. My parents told me that they chose to come to the United States because they wanted me and my sister to get a better education.
