Hello everyone,
My name is Anaise Baez. I am 18 years old and in my 3rd semester at BMCC. I lived in the Bronx my whole life and I am currently in an liberal arts major. I really enjoy listening to music such as different instrumentals (piano, guitar, violin, etc.) as well as music in different languages. I also enjoy doing art or cooking on my spare time and playing games but I’m also pretty shy and don’t really do many outdoor activities. I’m excited to learn about different cultures and hope that we all have a great semester together.
Hey Anaise, nice to meet you. That’s pretty amazing how you actually enjoy cooking and art because I know many people that aren’t you know cookers. In terms of music, I also enjoy instrumentals, but I have never listened to violin instrumentals. That is something new I would love to listen to. I am also not an outdoor person, but this semester makes it pretty easier for me. Can’t wait to see what this class has in store for us.

That’s really interesting that you have such a classical taste in music. I feel like its more rare in our generation. I always wish I’d learned to play violin or guitar at a young age. I love to cook as well! Definitely a beginner amateur chef tho lol. I’m also excited to delve into various Asian-American histories! See you around the DBs!

I can relate to your passion for music. Before I discovered the sciences, music was my first love. My first instrument was an acoustic guitar, later the piano. Actually one of my favorite classes I’ve take here at BMCC was intro to piano. I’ve dabbled in art, and while I find it relaxing and therapeutic, lets just say my hands are better suited for instruments of music. I can also relate to your passion for cooking. As a person with a rare health condition affecting my diet food is a major part of my life. Everything I know how to cook I learned from my mom, who learned from her parents.
