  1. In the article “The Subtle Evolution of Native American Education, I’ve learned that the Native Americans did not had a fair shot in the school systems. Also, there was a lot of discrimination towards Native Americans and people would belittle them. The DOE didn’t collect the accurate data on the percentage of Native Americans and they would mix up the information.

2. Something that I’ve learned from watching this weeks video is that Native Americans only make up 1% of the US population. I also learned that less than 1% of students in Fresco County are Native American and that they often feel overlook because of their small numbers.

3. My source on this topic is “The issues of Native American Education System Failure”. This article talks about the failure of the education system in the late 1800’s. I chose this source because not only did it mentioned when it started, but it also mentioned the lack of skilled teachers, funding, and technology.
