Lack of Training for Early Childhood Teachers

What is the Problem?

Teachers play one of the most important roles in the education structure. The number of under qualified teacher assistants working with infants/toddlers can affect their academic development and personal growth goals.

How are Children Affected?

Children are adversely affected by this. There is a positive correlation between teacher skills/qualifications and student academic performance. Failure to do so may adversely affect your child’s academic development.

How is the Family Affected?

Families are affected due to their child(ren) not receiving the proper education and attention they deserve. If there is one person who isn’t qualified to say the least to work with children, it is likely that the child will gain nothing from this encounter. At that point the parent becomes the educator.

How is the Community Affected ?

Communities are affected because school is a place you send your child to learn. If a child doesn’t receive quality learning it reflects poor performance on not only the school but also on the teachers and the community.

And the solution is unqualified teachers. This controversy should be addressed now. It’s been going on for too long and it’s affecting our children. We can’t wait any longer and we can’t wait for them to grow up. Things will only get worse. So, to change something and make it positive, you have to start working on it now.
