I think that learning is about gathering a set of understanding of parameters and familiarizing yourself with materials and information, as well as having some elasticity through that process. I believe that a class should be a safe and caring space where students can freely speak their mind and respect others as they also share their perspectives. I will use strategies to ensure our community can develop rapport and interpersonal skills, like with the small group activities, discussion board questions and assignments that address the content of the coursework. All students can reach beyond even what they believe; they do not know how far they can go!
