Hi my name is christina Caruso I am 36 years old I have two children a 17-year-old daughter and a four-year-old son. This is my second time in college I’m part of the second chance program at Bmcc where they wipe my transcript clean from Nassau Community College from when I was 22 years old. They also give you a clean state and you start your academic career over .My major is criminal justice i’ve always been interested in the Laura in all aspects of it. During winter break I spend time with my family in Long Island. I grew up in Massapequa my mother lives there and my grandparents live around the block and my mother sister my aunt lives five minutes away in Massapequa Park they all live very close. I am very close with my family and I see them as much as possible.

Hi my name is KatAlina. It’s my second semester at BMCC and I’m studying psychology. Over the winter break I unfortunately got sick and was out for a week and took English 201 in which we read and analyzed Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein” (I can’t italicize). It was really interesting and has inspired me to read some more classics, so I’m starting with Jane Austen.

Hi! My name is Mavluda, and my friends call me Mavi. I am a transfer student, after I got my degree in teaching I changed my mind and decided to become a pharmacist. It is my second semester at BMCC and when I graduate, I will go to pharmacy school. I did not get a chance to have a quality winter break because I had a winter class. However as you see below an image of me and my mom, we celebrated the New Year together. We went to the concert of mom’s favorite singer and we had a lot of fun together.

Hello! I am Derek Keire. I am 20 and will turn 21 in the summer. I was born and raised in Brooklyn. I am a liberal arts major with interests in the fields of biology and the arts, specifically ornithology(bird studies), microbiology, drawing and writing. Over the winter break I went to seattle to visit my grandma, aunt and cousins, it was a great time. we went to see a couple museums as well as the market and space needle. The picture below is from the Chihuly Garden and Glass museum, which I took a bunch of pictures from, but most of them had other people in them. I did not include those photos in order to respect those people’s privacy.
