I wasn’t able to attend the class that day due to internet troubles at home. I assume that it mostly had to do with anticipation, so I did my best to express that through this.

I’ll admit, I’ve never used Adobe Animate, so I had a bit of trouble. I’m doing pretty good all things considered.

Hey everyone!
This little flipbook assignment is for my MMP 2D Animation Class for Fall 2020. The attached little video simply tells the story of a ball turning into a spider and rising up into the air. It’s nothing too fancy.

I was unable to actually set up a flipbook due to lack of binder clips and post it notes, so I lined them all up in front of a stand, propped a stack of thirty two index cards up on a massive six-sided dice and kept taking photos while I flipped from the first to the last. If I could find a binder clip, I would’ve pinched it down on the left hand side and flipped through it like normal.
