“That is part of the beauty of all literature. You discover that your longings are universal longings, that you’re not lonely and isolated from anyone. You belong.” ~ F. Scott Fitzgerald

The official final exam weeks runs until Friday, May 22; However, the exam for this class closes on Wednesday, May 20th at 5:00 p.m.

Due to the unusual circumstances surrounding the outbreak of the coronavirus, students are being given the option to receive a CR (Credit) or NC (No Credit) grade instead of a letter grade for the Spring 2020 semester. However, students, not instructors, are responsible for filing for these grades. Full details are explained here.

A 25-question final quiz will become available on Saturday, May 16 and will remain open until Wednesday, May 20th. See the Final Exam page for details.

Congratulations to students in sections 0503 and 0505 for finishing this course during such a tumultuous and stressful semester. Your ability to do this demonstrates self-discipline, focus, and dedication to your own academic goals. It has been a pleasure to work with you, especially in the discussions, which we shared as a large group. I wish you all the best as you continue your studies, and I hope you will have some to relax a bit during the summer. You deserve it!

For students who were unable to complete the work for whatever reason, I hope you will join me again in the Fall. Section 0504 is still open at this time.

I encourage students who have not yet registered for Fall to do so at your earliest convenience.
