Abstract: This semester I worked virtually with Prof.Kurt using the online learning platform Coursera. The site has paired with the University of Sydney to provide a “Data-driven Astronomy” massive open online course. As a beginner still getting used to the Python programming language, it would be complicated to work on this course without assistance.
Research has taught me to analyze large datasets and has allowed me to practice my programming skills while also exploring accurate and recent practical data. The field of computation and programming plays an essential role in further advancement and research in science.
