I named this character “Buttermilk Bill” the one and only honky-tonk centaur. I imagine him as a classic western performer doing everything from Blue Yodle #9 to rodeo trick shooting. He is heavily inspired by 50’s singing cowboys Gene Autry and Roy Rogers. Both actors had intelligent horse companions and I couldn’t resist the comedy of smashing that duo together into one act. I’m hoping the anatomy provides both a difficult animation challenge and some wonderful visual gags.
