This website was created as an OER (Open Educational Resource) for the Borough of Manhattan Community College’s “MMP260 – Introduction to 2D Animation” course.
Each week of the semester has a dedicated page that includes slides (core concepts and terminology), web resources (relevant tutorials, articles, videos etc.), and assignment guidelines. The syllabus can be found on its dedicated page. The “Assignments” page provides detailed guidelines and grading rubric.
Faculty members teaching the course can use these resources “as-is” or adapt them.
Students should use Blackboard to submit their work and faculty should upload grades and comments there as well.
A lot of the content on this site was adapted from Professor Jody Culkin’s course materials.
