Q1. What are the goals, obstacles, and rewards of the game?
A1. The goal is to get to the end of each level by jumping over the flagpole (because this is literally just Super Mario Bros 1, but unfair). The obstacles are the enemies that roam around the screen and the untrustworthy scenery/level design that messes with your expectations. The reward of the game is the sigh of relief you have after completing this trainwreck of a game.
Q2. How does the game play with expectations of the platformer video game genre?
A2. It makes the floor fall down in places where it looks like it shouldn’t, makes enemies randomly appear in places they weren’t before, and has things that look like background obstacles actually kill you. In other words, nothing is trustworthy, just like in some of the WORST retro games (i.e. stuff by LJN, etc.)
Q3. What genre would you apply to this game?
A3. I would apply the 2D platformer genre.
Q4. What comment is the game making on video games in general? Is it making a comment or is it just a joke?
A4. I think maybe the comment this game is trying to make is that games are unfair. But honestly, this game is clearly just a parody made to get on people’s nerves because of how unfair it is.

Scenary.

My scenary is part of a level called the dark lands, and today im going to talk about how things in this picture fits with the scenary of the dark lands.
the tree: the tree is as a concept of how the levels environment will be.
the sword: the sword is the main weapon of chose of the main charater.
the platforms: the platforms is going to be a reacurent obstical in the level.
The bat. the bat is my first concept of an enemy that the main charater will face in the level. ill soon come up with a name for the enemy.
the clouds and moon: the clouds and moon is there to tell you that the level will take place in a night setting. so basically the level will be taking place at the darklands at night.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world, adventure and action game. This game was developed in 2018 by Rockstar Games. Throughout the game, you will complete different missions as an outlaw.

In my opinion, the big open-world is one of the main visual elements in the game. This world is full of details that impact the gameplay of the whole game.

Combat also plays a big role in visual elements and the whole game in general. Most of the time you shoot and fight, the physics of the combat are pretty nice and makes it even more enjoyable to play this game.

Animals and the environment are also important visual elements. This game has an old western style, and because of that, you travel on foot or on your horse. While traveling around the map you get to see different environments and animals.
Scenery

This game is about a character who has lost his memory, and then his goal is to get it back.
Slime:If you get close to the slimes you will die, so you need to jump over them.
Floor:The floor can help the character can quickly jump over the Slime.
Trampoline: can jump a long way to keep yourself from receiving injuries.
Character Design
This is my character, a tank. I took inspiration from the classic arcade game Metal Slug and the real-world model of the Soviet T-34.

Scenery
- The Egg element is used for for the main plot of the game. The character discovers a hatched egg after being told from a villager that a demonic monster has been unleashed.
- The Tall Grass dictates that the environment is pretty untouched by humans, grasslands and hills kinda vibe.
- The Grass(Grass-) with white tips are mythical flowers called, “Florians”. They produce a chemical that when harvested that is used in different forms of medicine.



Clouds:
the clouds makes the sky look a little bit more detailed and beautiful .
Portal:
this is a portal to go to a different world just like a teleportation door, it literally sends you to a load screen to a whole different place.
Sun:
the sun shows the weather and time in the game.
chat bubble: this bubble shows up when the character says something.
