For my character, I’ve brought back a creature I designed back in my Intro to 2D animation class, along with some skins I created just recently for the same character.
Here is Gree.
The second skin I’ve created looks like this, resembling a purple-tinted owl with antlers.
And the third, which resembles a red monkey.
Here is the idle animation for Gree.
Here is the walking animation, where it drags both of its overly sized hands to move.
I designed Flee with Piskel, she is a little girl who was raised by the devil inside her mind, she have a strong power inside her heart, she can’t control herself when she goes to her demon form, I named her Flee because she is a little girl who is trapped inside her mind, once the devil controls her mind she loses control, Flee in intransitive verb means to run away often from danger or evil, her wish is to be able to escape from the devil, once she transforms, she will feel pain.
This design was inspired by Klee from Genshin Impact, also the style art was influenced by Mario.
This is her first look, I call this the Cyberpunk version of Flee.
This is her second look, this outfit was inspired by Arale, It’s basically a Arale Cosplay.
This is her third look, this is a cosplay from Klee (Genshin Impact).
Animations:
This is the walking animation, she likes to run around with her hands opened.
This is the jumping animation, Flee enjoys jumping around.
This is her idle animation, she loses control and she transforms into her demon form when she is off guard.
This is my first simple version sketch This is my second more detailed sketch of the first one that took an antagonist approach. This is the third “realistic” sketch that I decided to go with.
These are the 3 different designs of the same character that I came up with.
This is the first design I made. It wasn’t too complex or too simple. This second one I made I tried to make it as simple as possible. This third one I tried to make it as detailed and realistic as possible with different levels of shading. This is my idle animation where the character is waving at the player. I used the more realistic design for the animations. This is my walking animationThis is my Jumping animation
For my character I made few sketches of shoes with different designs. For this assignment I picked the red shoes because I think stand out from rest of the shoes and they are so fancy that they have some ‘identity’. In Piskel I also added eyes and mouth.
My designs are based on structures of shapes. The designs of these characters flow within how straight, round, curvy, and etc they are.
This is my first variant that I will be using. He is the least realistic since he got some simple or geometric structure within him and less detailed than the other variants.
This is my second variant. This is the most realistic due to how much detail this one carries like eye patch and scar in his right eye. His little shirt carries a little design.
This is my third variant. This one is the middle ground of realism. Less detailed and the structure is a bit curvy (This variant is the ghost version of the character.)
I made my three character designs and I will call Little Robo because I like some future stuff. I designed Three characters from smaller to bigger. The first one has 8 bits of pixels. The second one was made some improvements like adding more colors and shadows. Also, the head had changed. The third one has much better because it has 16 bits like the definition of SNES. Just like the pixel had been involved in the new generation.
