For my self portrait, I wanted to use a city setting and show two different city dwellers enjoying a view together. I used the gradient map and noise filter to achieve this stylized look.

Illustrator

I used Illustrator to create a logo for MMP 100, featuring grain, gradients and shape builder effects.

Self Portrait Week 2, part 2

I forgot to add parts of AI work, I’m struggling with illustrator due to it being extremely different than any program I worked with. I’m attempting to make my piece off old school ios icons and the ocean yet, I can’t seem to work well with clipping tool.

Self Portrait Week 2 and Illustrator

I added noise to the self portrait and threw some blue and orange in there as well. My illustrator self portrait is meant to look like a face that is looking at a face that is on his face.

So I made some adjustments. I cropped my image and flipped it horizontally. I also added my dog into the front seat of the car. I played with the layers including noise. Hope its better this time. Thanks

Self Portrait Week 2

I still haven’t chosen an image to work. I guess I’m having some creative block at the moment but I’m not worried I tend to work best under pressure.

Self-Portrait Vector

First attempt at Illustrator using geometric shapes, I tried to look at a picture of me and break the color up horizontally.

This was one I did before realizing it had to be done with geometric shapes only. I did this with Illustrator for the ipad using the pencil tool.
