Self Portrait Update Week- 3

I already finished my self portrait, but working in photoshop was honestly so eye opening. Photoshop works just like my art program, Clip Studio Paint. Working with new brushes was a bit hard, but i started to get the hang of it.

I’ll include the portrait into this entry too.

My Self Portrait Update

This is my first attempt at using photoshop! My self portrait is a picture of my brother’s dog Luke sliding in to home plate during a baseball game. I love baseball specifically the Mets and Luke as well!

These are the links to the images I used for this picture:

And the picture of Luke the dog was a picture that was sent to me by my brother.

My Self Portrait

My self portrait represents a lot of important things to me. The elements I added were a Sea angel, Candy sharks, Ponyo, the silly drawing from Turning Red, and myself! Both my moon and rising signs are water signs, which I feel like makes me more connected to the ocean! I adore sea animals such as sharks and sea angels, which I tried intergrading into the piece with the candies and figurines! I also added a reference to my favorite movie Ponyo and Turning Red too. I love both these movies so much, due to how they inspire me to always create art.
