For my Animation I chose “Anxiety”. I used a square and a circle morphing into each other to show a anxious mindset constantly thinking about things. I used a red star to represent fear chasing the circle show casing how panic can quickly lead into fear.
My audio portrait is about a soldier experiencing a concussion-induced dream during combat in the Gulf War. As explosions erupt all around him and chaos reigns on the battlefield, the main character is knocked unconscious by an explosion. In his disoriented state between waking and dreaming, he envisions a soothing glimpse of the peaceful life he knew before the horrors of combat.
For my self-portrait, I used a picture of me and my girlfriend an old picture of Austin, Texas in the 1930’s to give a unique background to my time traveling concept. As for the the picture of me and my girlfriend I chose us because I plan to eventually move to Texas with her, and we both have a love for vintage things and old music. Professor Owens gave me the great idea of adding a noise gradient on top of the photoshopped image of me and my girlfriend to make it fit in more with the image. I also decided to add the poster edges filter to it cause I felt it made the whole picture look like a vintage portrait.

Illustrator
I used Illustrator to create my “Drifter” logo that I think represents me. The tools I used were the pen tool, gradient, shape builder, and the brush tool.
I took your advice professor and added the noise gradient to my photoshop portrait. As for my illustrator portrait I chose to make a motorcycle helmet because they’re cool and mysterious looking.
