My Audio Podcast

Title: Lee’s Podcast

Spring 2024

Audacity

For my Audio podcast, I used Audacity to add audio effects like, fade in and out, and the envelope tool to reduce the volume of the audio. I got my audio sounds from Free Music Archives and FreeSounds.
In my podcast, I am talking about a new temporary exhibit that is coming to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. I used four audios, my voice, music, whale and ocean sound. The most challenging part of this project was coming up with what I wanted to talk about on the audio. I have never done a podcast before and it had me vary nervous, but when I was walking around the museum I saw a trucks unloading the collections of the exhibit and that gave me the inspiration.

My Self Portrait

The Hikers

Spring 2024

Photoshop

For my self-portrait, I used an exhibit from the Denver Museum that shows someone pointing at the hikers. I used a gradient map, noise filter, and custom shape tool to achieve this look.
I choose this image because it represents me. I am an Educator for the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and love talking about the functions of the body

Luna

Spring 2024

Illustrator

For my logo, I used Illustrator, featuring multiple shapes combined using Path Finder, Blend tool to create the rays, Gradient map for the background, and edited text to make it look a bit different from the original font. My inspiration was the cat from sailor moon, “Luna”. While doing this vector, I struggled a bit getting the blend tool to do what I wanted it to do, but I managed.
