Title: Pensive Emotion Animation Osumanu Adamu

I choose to animate the emotion pensive, which is when you are engaged in deep or serious thoughts. When I think of pensive I imagine that someone is either sitting down looking at a landscape or laying down looking at the clouds. Thus, I used the eclipse tool to create some clouds then I used key frames to animate the clouds across the screen. The most challenging part of this project was learning how to use the keyframes because it was confusing when I tried to move the clouds to make them move across the screen and at times it wasn’t working, however, I was able to get the hang of it.

Description: Taking the saying laugher is the best medicine and taking it literally, I made the word laugher more energetic and playful than the word fever. I added the smile in at the end because I thought it looked creepy and would be funny to close with.

What Is Fear

Description: This is an animation about fear so I wanted to keep the colors dark. Everyone fears what’s in the dark so I had the word fear slowly appear as if it was hiding in the dark. I also had fear typed over and over in distorted letters to give a creepy feel.

I used the emotion “Happy” and I illustrated with a brightly colored background and font choice and animated effects.

My Audio

Short Horror Story

I am a huge horror fan. I have been watching horror movies since I was a kid with my dad. I have never been scared like most are, instead they excite me and put me in a great mood which some people can find weird. There is a show on CW called “Two Sentence Horror Stories” which is what inspired me to come up with this Audio. I created my own little horror short story and added all the sounds I felt were suitable. I really enjoyed using Audacity, I felt it was super easy to maneuver. It was a fun project to create, to see how such small clips can tell a whole story. What I was having difficulties with was getting the right pitch, tempo and speed to a certain clip. I hope you guys enjoy my audio and it doesn’t freak you out too much.

My Relaxing Audio

Title: The Peaceful Wave

Semester/Year: Spring 2022

Software: Audacity

I created this audio because it embodies the peaceful nature I desire in my life. It also sheds light to my poetic side. I used the sound of waves crashing to bring a sense of dramatization yet peaceful in nature. The soft piano is the calm in the crashes of each wave.

I created this audio of all the sounds I hear while walking to my neighborhood park to play basketball. I combined 5 different sounds 4 that I found online and 1 that I recorded on my phone. The effect I used the most was loudness normalization and the envelope tool. The most difficult part of this audio was to not have the sounds all being played at the same level so I changed the gain and pan some sounds to different levels.

Asfi Raihan Audio

Title: Asfi Raihan and his friends.

This project is a little compilation of me and my friends telling our future goals and where we want to be. My friends’ names are Sophia, Jerry and Kitty. I have 5 clips including the background 3 of my friends and myself. This project is a way of manifesting out goals. After 1:05s the rest is all just music, and our introductions start at 0.30s.

Relax time Audio Project

I created this audio because I am very stressed I have many assignments to do besides the fact that in the afternoons I have an 8-hour job, I imagine at night that I am in the sea lying on the sand listening to the noise of the waves and the herons who come to me In general, this assignment helped me to distract myself a bit from the routine. I hope you like it and when you feel stressed you can listen to it.
