Coding language/software: HTML and CSS – Sublime Text
For my project, I decided to have the player go on a trip. On the page, every picture leads the player into a different scenario and they can start by deciding between going to Paris or New York. I would say that the most difficult part about the project was the entire project itself. I had never made anything similar before, nor coded in my life, so learning this from scratch was a good experience.
You, the player go on a (short) adventure. I used Illustrator to make some simple artwork to make the adventure more immersive. I made the short story a simple dungeon dive because it’s similar to a game I have been playing lately. I thought that the most challenging part of the process was formatting the website. I was able to resolve my issue with help from Prof. Owen.
Description: For this project I used sublime. The story is very short because I thought it would be funny that way. It’s about going to either the forest or the city, and one wrong move can result in death.
This semester is my first time using any Adobe software. Honestly, I’m inexperienced so this is not my best work, however I gained insight for further projects to come. Regardless, I wanted to emulate what the opening of a TV show or even a comic animation looked like.
The emotion I wanted to demonstrate was “calm”. The way I wanted to show this emotion was with the colors and a place that I think is peaceful. The most challenging part of the animation was making the could, I was able to make the cloud by making a lot of circles move together in different times.

Description The emotion I try to animate is that it’s so short and simple. I chose light blue because it’s one of my favorite colors, and I made clouds because it reminded me of the sky. I approach pacing and timing is with some ease I just have a hard time turning in work. The most difficult aspect is determining whether to keep it short and basic or go all out and attempt to make a YouTube short tale animation. I tried to make it, but there was a lot of movement in the animation, which gave me a hard time because I don’t know a lot about After Effects.
I wanted to make a unique animation, so I decided to do stop motion. The background is black because I used a green screen and edited it. Overall, I had an extremely fun time working with this stop motion. It took me roughly 60-70 images to create this stop motion.
I chose the word ”Paranoia” for this assignment. I chose the colors to be primarily black and white to create my desired effect, which is to be uncomfortable and annoyed as someone feels when under that emotion. I used multiple elements and overloaded my timeline to distract my audience’s eyes and try to replicate what a person feels when they are paranoid. The most challenging thing for me with this project was to animate the arms of the monsters. For this, I had to create my own images in illustrator and separate them into different layers so that later I could move the rotation of the arm and body of the monsters in after effects. This was a good exercise, and I would like to repeat it again in the future.
Description: I chose a night in Las Vegas using my adobe illustration assignment as a background, in this animation the word “happy” goes around many times representing happiness and fun on a dark night, the stars also rotate which makes this animation more attractive.
When I create the image, I wanted the building to connect to where the moon is above there. So I decided to connect this image and the clip to represent the Night Sky’s.
