My Drawing Program

Title: Drawing Program

Semester/Year: MMP100 Spring’22

Coding/Programming Languages: p5/JavaScript

I attempted to recreate Bad Bunny’s recent album cover. I have been playing this album nonstop since it came it out so I figured why not attempt to draw it. I used a square style brush with mini square shadows following the brush. I used many different colors so the keyCodes were very useful.

Here’s my code.

Title: Paraguayan Flag

Semester/Year: Spring 2022

Coding/programming languages: p5/JavaScript

I created this image in honor of Paraguay’s independence days. On May 14th and 15th, Independence Day is celebrated in Paraguay, as well as Mother’s Day. As Paraguayan, I wanted to make a small tribute to my country, drawing the flag in a more abstract but easy-to-understand way.

Here’s my code.

My Audio Project

Title: Please leave a message at the Beep

Semester/Year: Spring 2022

Software: Audacity

Description:

As a child, I used to watch a bunch of sitcoms. From Home Improvement, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, to The Steve Harvey Show. However, my audio project was inspired from my favorite sitcom of all time and probably the greatest sitcom of all time, Seinfeld. In the 8th season and the 5th episode, George Costanza creates an iconic answering machine greeting. I decided to recreate my own version, as my friend leaves me a message of a trip he just returned from. I combined four audio samples and had to do a video to mp3 to wav conversion in order to get the samples to work on audacity.

I made a glitchy square brush that you can use to get cool effects on your drawings. You can use it to make your art look abstract.

Title: Choose Your Own Adventure

MMP 100/Spring ’22

Coding Language: HTML and CSS

I chose to go with the story of planning a vacation day on an unknown island. With every decision you made, there was a consequence. I really enjoyed working on this project and have to say it was my favorite of all. I had difficulties at the end when I was uploading the files on github. My “About.html” was working on sublime but not on github, I then went back on sublime to double check everything and ended up realizing it was just a tiny mistake from changing the “A” in about to a lowercase “a” so it matched all of the other files. Goes to show every little thing matters when coding.

Traffic and Directions (Audio Project)

MP100 | AUDIO PROJECT

Title: Traffic and Directions

Semester/Year: 2022

Software: Audacity

Description:

I’ve been put everything in the audio. I use my own voice to come up with directions to tell the passenger to se where is the nearest subway. The audio wasn’t that great because of the voice, but you can hear the traffic sounds after the intro music is played. I put about 5 audios to create a story. The most challenging part is the voice recording. There’s no way I would record anywhere regards of traffic.
