This collage is meant to identify me as a person. I wanted to create an image that represents me using the things that I love. For starters, the background is an image of the New York City streets that I walk daily is overlayed with stars. I love astrology and wish that I could see the starts in the sky while walking at nighttime. I placed a woman walking with the head of an elephant, which is my spirit animal. Lastly, I used an image of piano keys as the street the woman walks on, since I am a pianist.

Title: Geometric
Fall 2023
Adobe Illustrator
This is meant to be a portrait of myself made with adobe illustrator. I made a simplistic version of myself using numerous shapes. The eyes have been left out so I can emphasize my glasses and how the flare makes it difficult to see my eyes with them on. The hair is asymmetrical because, like in real life, my hair and curl pattern is not at all equal, and it flows in different ways.
For my Final Project I wanted to use the programming aspects of replit to create a website for a user to pick any characters of their choosing to fight in a simulated battle. I’ve always enjoyed cartoons, anime and video games. I’ve also grown to love how silly the art forms can get, Whether its power scaling characters or people explaining how Shaggy from Scooby Doo can beat any other character in a fight,I love how animation and its most famous characters can make us feel all sorts of emotion. That’s why I wanted to make this site.To allow the user a freedom in which characters they want to face off and where they do it. Overcoming the problems of learning how to program in less than a week is definitely a challenge I was happy to concur. I actually find asic website composition quite interesting and hope to use it in the future.
Editors Note: This version is an extremely bare bones site compared to what I envisioned, due to time constraints and coding errors I was unable to stylize and add other elements to my website nonetheless I hope it provides the user some enjoyment.
For my final project I have decided to do a part 2 of my choose your adventure, because it was my favorite to do first part around (and it was easy to do) all images are from adobe stock that I’ve licensed myself. I was gonna do something else for my final but I didn’t have time. Hope y’all enjoy this time around.
Software, coding/programming languages: After Effects, Photoshop, HTML
For my final project I decided that I would try to make a webcomic hosting site. I looked at some people’s websites for their comics for ideas for the website layout, which is how I decided where to put the navigation bar, which I made more intuitive by making the clickable elements (the arrows) get bigger when you hover your mouse on them. The story itself is not complete and the artwork isn’t polished or colored but I hope that a story is still told. The cover page is animated in After Effects, and the drawings were made by me in Photoshop. To make the animation I drew all the elements (the background, the star, and the bubbles) separately and then imported them into AE. Then I moved the star and bubbles around a bit and then exported the video as a GIF. I had to downsize the GIF by a lot since the real thing ended up being an entire gigabyte. Overall it was pretty neat to see what a hypothetical webcomic website would look like if I ever decided to make one. If I had more time I would have added a home page or something similar which could be accessed by clicking the star in between the arrows.
I chose to tell a love story between these two people because I just enjoy writing love stories. I mainly used Procreate to draw the pictures and then I took the last two panels into After Effects to add the video in the back of them. I edited together two animations that I had made in the past using After Effects and applied them here for the animation requirement. it added more to the comic and I’m satisfied with how it turned out. I wish I’d found better ways to display the animation because the gif came out static-y and I didn’t enjoy that. the gifs were also really big in terms of file size so it made my computer move slowly. next time I will explore more ways to display videos without the hassle. for the designs I chose colors that contrasted each other and made it clear that the two individuals are opposites, I like the opposites attract concept when making these types of stories. I don’t know how people will perceive this, but I hope they look at this and see a harmless onesided love story of someone being starstruck by someone else’s beauty. the most challenging part was the code, I don’t have much experience with it and I tried different things to make the website interactive but nothing felt cool enough to me. I solved this problem by keeping it simple and looking at the previous class examples by the professor.
For my final I wanted to create a romance themed visual novel. I have always enjoyed the format of visual novel games such as Danganronpa, Cookie Runs: Romance Kingdom and Doki Doki Literature Club. With help and guidance I was able to include choices, audio and characters. I used Photoshop to resize the background images as well as Audacity to edit and choose and pick which sounds I want to incorporate into my story. I used Procreate to draw each character and edit them to create different emotions for each screen in order to mimic the aesthetic of visual novels.
“LETS GET ICE CREAM !” is a romance themed visual novel where you as the protagonist get asked to get ice cream by multiple characters in the story. Based on your interactions with each character it is up to you to choose who you wish to go with. I mimicked character tropes such as the social best friend character, wholesome shy character, popular bubbly character and finally the tsundere character. I created multiple HTML pages in order to leave the player to play and enjoy whatever they choose. ENJOY!

I’ve decided that for my final project, I’d pick up where I left off on another project. I chose to make a sequel to GOBLIN DOMAIN because the original project was the easiest for me to work with in MMP 100, since my work was more driven by story. I’ve made changes to the color palette, the choices you make, and most especially the timeline. The problem I’ve faced in this project is finding a blend between making something new, and relying on old material, especially when it came to art assets.
The final project I chose to do is a three-page comic, it’s from a story my friend and I are writing which is based on the Spiderman movies. I used FireAlpaca to draw every panel, and Adobe Illustrate to put everything together. There are three drawings in total and I used HTML and CSS to code the websites.
this is an image i made in illustrator with the pen tool and also using the coloring brush to make the colors of the trees and the body of the trees.
this was also made in illustrator with the pen tool as well and i also used the color pallet in order to match the color of nature like green for the trees, blue for the water, black for the ground.
the birds in the audio is from pixabay which is free use audio that you can add to your projects.
