I used Illustrator app to create a logo for my camera rental service.
At first, I thought about an image featuring a pigeon in a high place, referencing how I would look up often as a child to try and spot birds in high buildings. The second image that came to mind was the beer bottle, seeing how they tend to be scattered around the streets wherever you look. And as for the blurred vision, It’s my sight. Don’t have the best sight one it comes to one of my eyes and thought it would add some good effects to this photo.
I modified the beer bottle and added it to the pigeon photo and masked some objects. Along with adding a filter to make it seem like you’re seeing double.
This collage is meant to identify me as a person. I wanted to create an image that represents me using the things that I love. For starters, the background is an image of the New York City streets that I walk daily is overlayed with stars. I love astrology and wish that I could see the starts in the sky while walking at nighttime. I placed a woman walking with the head of an elephant, which is my spirit animal. Lastly, I used an image of piano keys as the street the woman walks on, since I am a pianist.

Title: Geometric
Fall 2023
Adobe Illustrator
This is meant to be a portrait of myself made with adobe illustrator. I made a simplistic version of myself using numerous shapes. The eyes have been left out so I can emphasize my glasses and how the flare makes it difficult to see my eyes with them on. The hair is asymmetrical because, like in real life, my hair and curl pattern is not at all equal, and it flows in different ways.
I wanted to use something simple, and cool but also somewhat personal. I used stippling rather than gradients for some shadows, I felt that it gave it some texture which I found attractive then the sharpness vectors gave off. I created most of the stippling using Image Trace, but everything else were just shapes. My inspiration came from some of my favorite characters growing up, their attitudes edged on cynicism, seeing the world like a passive observer.
Title: (Head in the clouds) Self Portrait Collage
Semester/Year: Fall 2023
Program Used: Photoshop
This work was a collage, I used masking to try to give the illusion of depth and make the subject seem natural in the environment. Most of the inspiration was from using themes prevalent in hip hop culture and reimagining it in an ironic way. Although the theme I was going for was somewhat encompassed in the work I feel like the black and whiteness gave it a subdued feeling which felt right in this composition.

I am a VAT Major and a big fan of these two filmmakers. James Cameron and David Fincher, and I wanted to put side by side and create an image which could highlight their artistic differences despite being talented in the same field. I used basic Image layering and Coloring to create the sections where their films exist but also use two similar colors to show that these ideas can coexist.
The Images all taken from creative commons are owned by the following …

This is my Adobe Illustrator Portion of my Self Portrait, once again taken from my love of film, this a drawing of a slate for a Short Documentary I’m making about my uncle Howard for my VAT class. The shot number at the top is meant to be a joke about how long it takes to shoot a film. I used basic rectangle creation and coloring to create a standard black and white slate.
Title: Peaceful Lion and Monkey in a peaceful Jungle
Semester: Fall 2023
Software: Adobe Photoshop
For this project, I picked the image of the lion in a forest from the internet, I also saved an image of the donkey that was sitting on branch tree. I used photoshop to select the monkey and put it near the lion, I cropped it change the color to make it smilar to the lion color. For this image to look real, I change the color and used “photo repair-sepia” to make it look it original.
This project is an illustration to tell people that we can leave in peace and harmony and stop all kind of wars or division. If a lion and a monkey can be together leaving without fighting; what about us, human beings that have consciousness ?
For this Project, I took the occasion to create a logo or image to advertise a business that I have on my mind: Giving English to non native speaker.
I used shapes, color, text and other options and buttons of the toolbar to draw a computer where I wrote a text to really say the main objective of the business.
My photoshop self-portrait shows me being from Brooklyn, NY with an image of the Brooklyn Bridge in the background, one of favorite places to go in NYC. Plus, three images of me and my ambition to make money.
My illustrator self-portrait is of me with my hair and my favorite color blue as the color of my shirt and a Z logo to represent my name.

Part I raster: The images that I chose to combine to represent myself is a book, a heart, a paint brush, a book, the bajan flag, 3 images of me at different points in my life and a galaxy. I chose to put these images together because I wanted to show how spiritual and knowledgeable I consider myself to be. The Galaxy shows my interest in the stars and the moon and how connected I feel to them. The paint is to show my creativity and the heart is to show the love I have for different things in my life. The book is to represent my knowledge. The pictures of myself shows my evolution over the years. I think the hardest part of incorporating these image is trying to create the illusion that the pictures of me are coming out of the book as well as making the paint and heart look like the content of the book
Part II Vector: The taurus symbol that I’ve chosen to put into my project is to show that I am the year of the bull. I ghost to use the color blue because I think that it goes well with the galaxy that I have in the background. I also chose the 3D effect for my “TRAGEDY TO TRIUMPH’’ because I want the person who views my portrait to feel like the words are coming towards them. I want them to see in bold letters the path that I am trying to go down in my life. I also chose to make the ‘’Book of Tee golden to show that I think that the contents of my life are very important. When you see gold you think of high quality and I feel like I have a heart of gold. I also added stars that I distorted just to go with the theme of space.
Title: He is I & I am him Semester/Year: 2023 Software: Photoshop
Luffy is my favorite character from One Piece because he’s strong and I relate to him because we both love food. Since he’s made out of rubber, he never gets full. I feel like that when I eat all the time. I wanted to use the original picture and use 2 different adjustments – the photo repair strong contrast and the creative black/white negative. I also added an animated self-portrait of me from high school and I used the lasso tool to get it by itself – that was the most challenging.
When I think of shapes, the 1st thing that came to mind was emojis and the 1st emoji that came to my head was the purple devil emoji. Whenever I see someone doing something wrong or say something wrong – I always use this emoji. The most challenging part of the project was making the devil horns, it took a while, but it worked out.
