Hello class and Professor, My name is Timothy George and my major I plan on pursing and sticking with is multimedia programming and design. I’ve tried being a business major before and it was stressful just the first year alone with everyone trying to reach to the top like a competition. So I decided I rather do what I like and feel comfortable doing. I’ve always been into drawing physically and I decide to try something different and that’s when I gave graphic design a try and turns out I didn’t know I’ll be as good so here I am. As well, I also do things on the side like free lancing modeling and taking photos and hope to pursue my talents and career in all those aspects.

This last year has been tuff for most of us, iv’e been focusing my free time at home learning my way around the adobe sphere. I love creating things, bringing my ideas to life! Hello everyone! My name is Makenna Topacio. I am a Filipino-American and I am 23 years old. I am a Multimedia Programming and Design Major with an interest in becoming a marketing designer or graphic designer. In my free time I like to garden, volunteer at animal shelters or non-profits, and explore different art styles including, ceramics, drawing, painting, and sculpting. I haven’t taken many design courses before, but I am eager to learn how typography and other forms of design work in order to pursue my career. I look forward to working with you all 🙂

I am Giulia Feleppa. I became interested in graphic design a couple of years ago while interning for a small branding design agency. While designing my first logo for a friend I had a chance to explore the world of lettering, calligraphy and typography. Since then I am fascinated by the capacity of different fonts, often associated with colors, to transmit different feelings, impressions and information (at once). Attending MMA 100 I learned that spacing between letters and different size can impact how the reader feels when reading something. I am willing to learn more about typography and improve my basic design skills during this course. If I have to choose a font, it would be a script one, like jazz script or Snell Roundhand.
